Overview
Vivasoft is seeking Senior SRE / Platform Engineers to architect, build, and maintain our cloud-native infrastructure. This role is designed for engineers who are passionate about reliability, automation, and the “Infrastructure as Code” philosophy. You will be responsible for ensuring our platforms are scalable, secure, and highly available, while empowering development teams through robust CI/CD and self-service tooling.
As a Senior member of the team, you will drive architectural decisions, lead incident response efforts, and implement cutting-edge observability practices to ensure peak system performance.

Responsibilities:
- Architect & Automate: Design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Reliability Engineering: Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs; maintain runbooks and lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
- Platform Orchestration: Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement and optimize logging, alerting, and monitoring stacks, with a focus on Grafana
- Security & Compliance: Enforce the principle of least privilege via AWS IAM, manage secrets, and oversee vulnerability scanning and patching
- CI/CD Leadership: Develop and refine automated deployment pipelines to ensure seamless, low-risk releases
- Troubleshooting: Lead performance tuning and complex system debugging to ensure high uptime
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve engineering productivity and system reliability
Requirements (Must Have – Non-Negotiable):
- More than 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- AWS Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with VPC, Load Balancers, IAM, WAF, Networking, ECS, and EKS.
- Infrastructure as Code: Expert proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Containerization: Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Observability: Strong hands-on experience with Monitoring & Observability tools (experience with Grafana is preferred).
- Reliability Practices: Proven experience with SLI/SLO/SLA frameworks, incident response, and runbooks.
- Automation: Proficient in scripting and automation using Bash, Node.js, or Python.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (experience with Azure DevOps is a major plus).
- Security: Solid understanding of AWS IAM, Secrets Management, and the principle of least privilege.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, patching, and security audits.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Proficient in uptime monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
- Familiarity with engineering KPIs and their impact on business outcomes.
- Experience in high-traffic, enterprise-grade cloud environments.
- Knowledge of advanced networking and security protocols.
